Welcome to the CarBazzar India portal! These terms govern your interactions with our automotive listing features, vehicle comparisons, test drive bookings, and dealer connection systems. By searching, comparing, or listing a vehicle on carbazzarindia.com, you agree to these specific operational rules.
1. Vetting Car Listings & Photo Reviews
To maintain the integrity of our used car marketplace, every listing undergoes a quality review. While your vehicle's specifications (brand, variant, year, mileage) go live on our search feed instantly, all uploaded photos must be checked and approved by our moderation team. Listings with stock photos, blurry images, or watermarks of other websites will be hidden until corrected.
2. Rules for Booking Test Drives
When you submit a request through our test-drive scheduling system, CarBazzar India acts as a bridge forwarding your preferences to the respective private seller or local authorized dealership. Please note:
- The availability of the vehicle for a test drive is determined by the seller, not CarBazzar India.
- You must present a valid Indian driving license to the seller or dealer before initiating any test drive.
- We do not insure or assume responsibility for any accidents or damage during a test drive.
3. Car Comparison & Specification Accuracy
Our car comparison tool compiles specifications, ex-showroom prices, fuel economies, and variants based on official manufacturer brochures (Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata, Mahindra, etc.). Because manufacturers update features frequently, these specs are indicative only. Always confirm precise features with the dealer showroom before finalizing your booking.
4. Fair-Use Free Tier Limits (Private Owners vs. Commercial Dealers)
Individual sellers can list up to two personal cars at a time on our free tier. Commercial used car dealers, automotive brokers, or individuals listing cars on behalf of businesses are not eligible for the free tier. If our system detects dealer activity on a free profile, the listings will be suspended until the account is upgraded to a dealer package.
5. Handling Reservation Deposits
If you opt to reserve a car by making a partial deposit through our platform, CarBazzar India collects this fee strictly as an escrow facilitator on behalf of the seller. This deposit reserves the booking slot but does not guarantee purchase until the final price is paid and vehicle transfer documents are completed directly with the seller.
6. RTO Transfers, Registration Certificates (RC) & NOCs
CarBazzar India is a listing directory and is not involved in title transfers. Sellers are solely responsible for ensuring the vehicle has a clean title, clear financing (hypothecation removal), and obtaining the necessary No Objection Certificates (NOCs) from the Regional Transport Office (RTO). Buyers must independently verify the authenticity of the RC before handing over any money.
7. Zero Tolerance for Odometer & Listing Fraud
To protect car buyers in India, we have a strict policy against listing manipulation. Profiles listing cars with tampered odometers, hidden accidental damage, stolen registration numbers, or bait-and-switch pricing will be banned permanently. We cooperate with local law enforcement in Haryana and other states to report suspected vehicle fraud.
By listing your vehicle, booking test drives, or using the comparison engine, you agree to these operational rules.
